KUALA LUMPUR: Unisem (M) Bhd
is expecting its performance for the remainder of 2026 to be supported by the continued recovery in customer demand and improved utilisation of installed capacity across the group.
This comes as the group reported improved net profit of RM30.73mil in the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2026, against RM19.38mil in the year-ago quarter, while revenue climbed to RM607.66mil from RM492.74mil previously.
The group said in its results filing with the stock exchange that the improved revenue was mainly driven by higher sales volume across the group's key operating units.
Cumulatively, the group's nine-month net profit came to RM27.28mil, which remained below a net profit of RM34.52mil in the same period in 2025. Revenue over the current period was RM1.64bil against RM1.39bil in the same previous period.
The board of directors declared an interim dividend of one sen per share with an ex date of Nov 23, 2026, and payable on Dec 8, 2026.
