RedPlanet unit bags RM7.09mil solar project

PETALING JAYA: RedPlanet Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, AZTI Systems Sdn Bhd, has received a RM7.09mil purchase order for a 15 megawatts alternating current large-scale solar photovoltaic plant in Batu Sapi, Sandakan, Sabah.

The order, from a Malaysian-incorporated company, covers supervisory control and data acquisition and system integration engineering design.

It also includes the supply of electrical, control, automation and digital systems equipment.

Managing director Lian Wah Seng said the order allows the enterprise information, communication and technology solutions provider to apply its engineering and systems integration capabilities to a large-scale solar plant. He added that the group would coordinate closely with the awarder to deliver the agreed scope.
