AME Elite unit to build BAC technical hub for RM120mil

KUALA LUMPUR: AME Elite Consortium Bhd said its construction arm AME Construction Sdn Bhd has secured a RM120mil contract from Rock Link Sdn Bhd to construct a purpose-built manufacturing and testing facility for BAC in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

In a statement, the group said the project, which spans 30,000sqm, is scheduled for handover within 14 months and will be operated by BAC Malaysia Sdn Bhd upon completion.

The project, which will serve as the Asia Pacific (APAC) regional technical hub for BAC, comprises a single-storey detached factory, a two-storey regional engineering office, and ancillary support buildings.

AME Elite's external construction and engineering order book stood at RM485.7mil as at end-June 2026, prior receiving this award.

"As global technology supply chains evolve, Malaysia is seeing growing demand for purpose-built industrial facilities that can be delivered efficiently and to high technical standards.

"Our in-house industrial construction capabilities enable us to deliver complex facilities within accelerated timelines while meeting the requirements of multinational customers," said executive director and group CEO Dylan Tan Teck Eng.
