Malaysia Airlines wins two awards at World MICE Awards 2026

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines has been named World's Best MICE Airline and Asia's Best MICE Airline at the 2026 World MICE Awards, marking its first wins in both categories.

In a statement, the airline said the awards were presented at a ceremony held in Jamaica, recognising its services in the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) travel segment.

Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) airline business chief executive officer Bryan Foong said the recognition came as the airline continued to develop its services and relationships with travel trade partners.

"Our progress depends on the collective efforts of teams across the Group, working together to deliver a reliable and seamless travel experience grounded in authentic Malaysian Hospitality.

“As we move forward, we remain focused on building partner confidence, deepening collaboration and delivering sustainable growth for the airline," he said.

Meanwhile, Malaysia Airlines reported an average year-to-date on-time performance (OTP) of 91.70%, with the figure reaching 94.16% in September 2026.

The airline said the performance reflected its efforts to improve operational reliability.

MAG and Malaysia Airlines also received several other industry awards this year, including recognition for customer service, brand performance and airline operations in Malaysia, South Korea and Hong Kong.

The group said these developments formed part of its Long-Term Business Plan 3.0, which targets a place among the world's top 10 airlines by 2030.

Under the plan, MAG intends to continue investing in its fleet, network, products and operations.
