Life Water unit expands via RM15mil property purchase

KUALA LUMPUR: Life Water Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Green Borneo Industries Sdn Bhd has proposed to acquire a 1.21ha parcel of land with a purpose-built office complex and ancillary workshop in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park for RM15mil.

It said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia the building was about 20 years old while the built-up area measured 1,793sqm.

According to Life Water, the proposed acquisition is to expand its business as the property is located in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park, where it currently operates its manufacturing facilities.

"The proximity of the Property to GBI's existing operations is expected to facilitate operational efficiency and provide additional space to accommodate the group's future business

expansion," it said.
