Ramssol unit partners Linear Channel for the supply of IT devices, AI software


KUALA LUMPUR: Ramssol Group Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Rams Aitech Sdn Bhd has inked a memorandum of agreement with Linear Channel Sdn Bhd with regards to a collaboration for the supply and provision of information technology devices, AI software solutions and device monitoring software under Linear Channel’s GreenElite Pro device-as-a-service programme.

According to the group's filing with Bursa Malaysia, Linear Channel will contract directly with small and medium enterprise end customers for the rental of information technology equipment bundled with AI software and device fleet monitoring services. 

Linear Channel is responsible for the end customer relationship, deployment, servicing, billing and collection. 

Meanwhile, RAMS AITECH will supply and licence the relevant AI software and device monitoring software and provisions the devices to Linear Channel. 

The collaboration will provide RAMS AITECH with a committed base of 10,000 subscription seats and establish a recurring revenue stream for RAMS AITECH’s AI Solutions while expanding the market deployment of its AI and device monitoring technology. 

In addition, the channel exclusivity arrangement in Malaysia and the regional right of first refusal framework are expected to facilitate the continued development of the collaboration and provide strategic

opportunities for the expansion of similar programmes in selected Southeast Asian markets (Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines).
