KUALA LUMPUR: Property developer UOA Development Bhd
’s net profit increased to RM95.59 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q 2026) compared to RM91.71 million in the same quarter a year ago.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, it said revenue also rose to RM221.20 million during the quarter from RM130.16 million previously, attributed primarily to the progressive recognition of the group’s ongoing development projects, namely Bamboo Hills Residences, Aster Hill and Duo Tower.
For the first six months of 2026, the company’s net profit, however, eased to RM137.53 million from RM165.66 million previously, while revenue strengthened to RM335.06 million from RM282.27 million previously.
On prospects, it said property sales for the period ended June 30, 2026 were mainly from Aethera Residences, Aster Hill, Bamboo Hills Residences and Duo Tower, bringing the year-to-date new property sales to RM316.7 million.
The company said unbilled sales amounted to RM576.6 million as at the end of the quarter under review is expected to be recognised progressively in accordance with construction progress.
