SCIB secures RM21mil deal for Sabah hostel


PETALING JAYA: Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) has secured a RM21.01mil sub-contract from Belian Juta Sdn Bhd to undertake upgrading works for the student hostel block at Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Keningau in Keningau, Sabah.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, SCIB said it will be responsible for the execution, performance and completion of the sub-contract works, including the provision of the necessary materials, labour, machinery, equipment and mechanical plants required for the project.

“The project is scheduled to commence on Aug 21, 2026, and is expected to be completed by Jan 22, 2029.

“The subcontract further strengthens SCIB’s construction and engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning project pipeline in Sabah and builds on the group’s recent momentum in securing and pursuing new opportunities across the state.”
