DKSH records higher net profit of RM32.27mil in 2Q26

KUALA LUMPUR: DKSH Holdings (Malaysia) Bhd posted a higher net profit of RM32.27 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q 2026) compared with RM23.94 million in 2Q 2025.

Revenue for the market expansion services provider also climbed 10.8 per cent to RM2.20 billion from RM1.99 billion a year ago driven by growth from existing and newly secured clients in both business unit consumer goods and healthcare.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said profit before tax for the quarter increased by 33.2 per cent compared to same quarter of 2025 which was mainly due to revenue growth and unrealised foreign exchange effects.

For the first six months of 2026 (1H 2026), DKSH delivered a net profit of RM81.83 million compared to RM72.12 million previously, while revenue increased to RM4.56 billion from RM4.21 billion a year ago.

On prospects, DKSH said it is cautiously optimistic about the outlook for this year.

It said the group focuses on maintaining a well-diversified portfolio, growing existing and securing new businesses, improving cost and resource efficiency, managing working capital, and consistently monitoring the short-term outlook to navigate the prevailing market environment.

"The group continues to enhance people’s competencies, accelerating digitalisation and adopting advanced technology,” it said.  - Bernama
