KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Pacific Industries Bhd’s net profit for the financial year ended June 30, 2026 (FY2026) increased to RM188.04 million from RM153.78 million last year on the back of higher revenue.

The company’s FY2026 revenue increased by 24 per cent to RM2.64 billion from RM2.13 billion. Revenue from the Asia, United States and Europe segments rose by 23 per cent, 52 per cent and 10 per cent, respectively, compared with the corresponding period of FY2025.

For the fourth quarter of 2026 (4Q FY2026), net profit increased to RM44.22 million from RM43.52 million, while revenue rose to RM736.63 million from RM564.01 million previously.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the investment holding company said its board remains confident in the group’s ability to capitalise on the global semiconductor industry’s sustained growth.

"Moving forward, the group will prioritise expanding into higher-margin segments, particularly artificial intelligence servers and sensors, while leveraging its technological expertise to unlock new opportunities.

"Simultaneously, management is actively mitigating rising production costs amid a challenging global economy and geopolitical uncertainty. To underpin this strategy, the group will continue to deliver responsive, customer-centric solutions, strengthen long-term relationships, and provide consistent high-quality support,” it said. - Bernama
