ViTrox anticipates favourable 2H26 outlook

PETALING JAYA: Vitrox Corp Bhd anticipates a favourable business environment heading into the second half of 2026, supported by continued investments in artificial (AI) and data centre infrastructure.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said it will continue to exercise prudent cost management and operational discipline to mitigate potential risks arising from foreign exchange volatility and geopolitical uncertainties.

For its second quarter ended June 30, 2026, Vitrox’s net profit jumped to RM85.04mil from RM28.13mil in the previous corresponding period, mainly due to structural manufacturing scale and a highly favourable product mix.

Revenue surged to RM374.92mil from RM183.04mil a year earlier, primarily driven by explosive AI infrastructure demand, our strategic focus into high-value, resilient markets like automotive, and consumer electronics and accelerated global supply chain restructuring which has deepened customer engagements.

For the six-month period ended June 30, 2026, Vitrox’s net profit surged to RM136.24mil from RM52.29mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue grew to RM641.97mil from RM324.16mil previously.
