Betamek’s 1Q earnings climb 53.2%


Betamek declared an interim single-tier dividend of 1.25 sen per share.

PETALING JAYA: Automotive electronic parts manufacturer Betamek Bhd’s net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (1Q) jumped 53.2% year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM8.25mil, while revenue increased by 40.3% y-o-y to RM79.82mil.

The company said in a stock exchange filing that the revenue growth can be attributed to the vehicle audio and video products segments, representing 56.8% of Betamek’s total revenue for the quarter.

It said the focus remains on strengthening the company’s core automotive business, while broadening diversification and innovation initiatives to enhance resilience and support sustainable growth.

Betamek declared an interim single-tier dividend of 1.25 sen per ordinary share, payable on Aug 17, 2026, with the ex-date on Aug 6, 2026.
