KUALA LUMPUR: Betamek Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Betamek Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd has received Level 4 Smart Manufacturing recognition under the Industry4WRD Smart Manufacturing Assessment programme.

It said the award reflects its progress in adopting advanced manufacturing technologies, digitalisation initiatives and smart manufacturing practices across its operations.

"This achievement reflects the progress we have made in advancing our digital transformation journey and embedding smart manufacturing practices across our operations.

"As the automotive and industrial sectors continue to evolve, we remain focused on harnessing technology to improve agility, support customer growth and build a stronger platform for sustainable long-term value creation," said Betamek executive director Muhammad Fauzi Abd Ghani in a statement.

Betamek said it expects smart manufacturing to continue to play an increasingly important role in supporting its future growth plans, particularly as automotive electronics become more sophisticated and integrated within next-

generation vehicle platforms.

Moving forward, the group will continue to expand its Industry 4.0 initiatives through the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, process automation and digital integration, further strengthening its position as a trusted partner within the automotive electronics ecosystem.
