KUALA LUMPUR: Southern Cable Group Bhd, Duopharma Biotech Bhd, Reservoir Link Energy Bhd, Karyon Industries Bhd (KIB), Teo Seng Capital Bhd, Jentayu Sustainables Bhd (JSB), Key Alliance Group Bhd, Pertama Digital Bhd and Favelle Favco Bhd are among the stocks to watch today.

Southern Cable has secured a RM403.6mil supplementary supply contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd, lifting its order book above RM1bil and extending earnings visibility through 2027.

Duopharma Biotech has secured more than RM225mil in Health Ministry insulin supply contracts, with products to be supplied by Biocon's Johor manufacturing facility under agreements spanning two to three years.

Reservoir Link Energy's 60%-owned unit has secured a five-year PETRONAS panel appointment to provide integrated resource assessment services for carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) projects, with work to be awarded via mini-bidding or direct awards.

Karyon Industries plans to acquire RM8.6mil industrial land in Johor Bahru to expand its manufacturing capacity and storage facilities, supporting its long-term growth strategy.

Key Alliance ceased to be a substantial shareholder of XOX Bhd after cutting its stake to 3.54% from 6.25%. The proceeds from the disposal of shares will be used by the group for working capital.

Singapore-based PK Green Fund has emerged as a substantial shareholder of JSG after acquiring a 9.02% stake. The 9.02% stake was sold by Datin Nurhaida Abu Sahid, the spouse of group managing director Datuk Beroz Nikmal Mirdin, reducing his deemed indirect interest in the company to 4.04%.

Favelle Favco secured RM504mil in new crane supply contracts, with rising investment in AI infrastructure helping drive demand and boosting its order book.

Pertama Digital has been classified as a PN17 company after its shareholders' equity fell below the prescribed threshold, although the company said the development does not alter its ongoing regularisation plan submitted to the Securities Commission in April.

Overnight, the Dow climbed more than 1% to a record closing high ahead of the long holiday weekend, while the S&P 500 also edged higher.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.14% to 52,900.07, the S&P 500 gained 0.01 point to 7,483.24, while the Nasdaq Composite eased 0.80% to 25,832.67.
