PETALING JAYA: Hextar Industries Bhd's (HIB) 70%-owned subsidiary, Hextar Mitai Sdn Bhd (HMSB), has secured a RM138mil engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from an undisclosed company engaged in investment of non-residential properties.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, HIB noted the project covers an integrated industrial development on 80,929 square metres of land (in Pulau Indah, Selangor) with a gross floor area exceeding 101,800 square metres.

It will include three production factories, warehouses, two workers’ hostel buildings, and supporting facilities.

HMSB’s scope spans structural works, architectural finishes, landscaping, infrastructure, and mechanical and electrical installations, with completion expected within 12 months, subject to certification.
