PETALING JAYA: HE Group Bhd
says its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hexatech Engineering Sdn Bhd, has accepted a subcontract valued at about RM102mil from an engineering, procurement and construction management company for the installation of main electrical works for a data centre (DC) in Johor.
In a stock exchange filing, HE Group said the client is a foreign-owned company specialising in the construction, civil engineering and offshore oil and gas sectors. The subcontract shall commence on the date of acceptance of the agreement, with the completion date set at Sept 19, 2027.
HE Group managing director Haw Chee Seng said securing the contract added to the company’s growing footprint in the DC segment.
