Duopharma wins RM155mil govt contract


Duopharma said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings moving forward.

PETALING JAYA: Duopharma Biotech Bhd has secured a three-year contract worth approximately RM155.3mil from the Health Ministry to supply recombinant human insulin products and reusable insulin pens to government healthcare facilities nationwide.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the pharmaceutical company said its subsidiary, Duopharma (M) Sdn Bhd, had accepted the letter of award that the contract will run from June 3, 2026 until June 2, 2029.

The award covers the supply of recombinant human insulin 100 IU/ml penfill and refill products, including short-acting, intermediate-acting and premixed insulin formulations, as well as reusable insulin pens.

Duopharma said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings moving forward while the contract is effective.
