Rohas Tecnic wins RM50mil TNB fibre optic contract


PETALING JAYA: Rohas Tecnic Bhd has secured a fibre optic supply and services contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) worth RM50.35mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Rohas said the contract is to provide fibre optic supply and services on TNB’s high voltage infrastructure (project and operations) for the information, communication and telecommunications division – Mainhead A (South Johor and Mainhead B2 (North Johor).

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of Rohas group.

“We are expecting good performance for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2026, 2027 and 2028 and a positive financial impact is expected on the earnings per share and net assets per share of the Rohas group,” it said.
