Citaglobal bags RM38mil Penang LRT job


PETALING JAYA: Citaglobal Bhd has secured a RM37.79mil subcontract for works under the Penang Light Rail Transit (LRT) Mutiara Line project, boosting the group’s outstanding order book to approximately RM1.45bil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its unit Citaglobal Land Sdn Bhd (CLSB), had accepted a letter of award from SRS Consortium Sdn Bhd for Sub-Package LS03 involving the construction and completion of long spans, special spans and related works from Komtar to East Jelutong.

SRS Consortium is the civil main contractor for Package CMC1, while MRT Mutiara Sdn Bhd is the project owner.

Citaglobal said the subcontract was awarded following a tender exercise conducted by SRS Consortium.
