Gas leak at SK Hynix chip factory injures six people, Yonhap reports

SEOUL: Six people were injured at one of SK Hynix's chip factories in Cheongju, South Korea due to a hydrogen fluoride gas leak, Yonhap News Agency said, citing a fire official.

The leak of the toxic gas happened after a fire broke out, the official said, adding that the blaze has been contained.

An SK Hynix spokesperson was not immediately available for comment. - Reuters
