CBH secures RM28mil turnkey job


PETALING JAYA: CBH Engineering Holding Bhd has secured a contract for works relating to the development of a 100 megawatts (MW) and 400 MW-hours battery energy storage system in Pahang, worth RM27.7mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the electrical engineering service provider said it had executed a works agreement with “Company A” to undertake the design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the battery energy storage system interconnection facility.

It also said that the deal is for a battery energy storage system interconnector and Tenaga Nasional Bhd interconnection facility works on a turnkey basis and all associated site works for the development of the battery energy storage system .

“The contract shall commence on April 8, 2026 and shall be completed on April 7, 2027.”

CBH added the contract will not have any effect on the issued share capital, the shareholdings of the substantial shareholders of the company.
