HSBC Bank opens third Premier Centre in Subang Jaya

KUALA LUMPUR: HSBC Bank Malaysia Bhd has opened a new Premier Centre at its Subang Jaya branch in Taipan Business Centre as part of efforts to strengthen its presence in Malaysia’s affluent banking segment.

The Subang Jaya Premier Centre is HSBC Malaysia’s third all-new Premier Centre, following the opening of centres in Petaling Jaya and Puchong earlier this year.

In a statement, the bank said the centre will provide personalised wealth and banking solutions for HSBC Premier customers, including wealth accumulation, protection and legacy planning services.

HSBC Malaysia chief executive officer Datuk Omar Siddiq said the bank is focusing on locations with strong demand for international banking and wealth management services.

“Today, Subang Jaya is being reshaped by a strong mix of corporate anchors, a world-class education ecosystem and ongoing urban regeneration — creating new centres of activity, stronger connectivity and a fertile environment for wealth creation and premium investment opportunities,” he said.

He added that HSBC’s continued investment in the Subang Jaya branch reflects its confidence in Malaysia’s growth prospects and commitment to supporting customers as their financial needs evolve.

Meanwhile, HSBC Malaysia country head of international wealth and premier banking Linda Yip said the bank is seeing increasing demand for personalised banking services.

“As our clients’ needs become more complex, the centre is designed to make it easier for them to access integrated solutions for investments, protection and legacy planning, all in one place,” she said.

Located on the ground floor of HSBC’s Subang Jaya branch, the Premier Centre includes private rooms aimed at providing greater comfort and privacy for customers.

HSBC said its Premier proposition is built around four pillars — wealth, health, travel and international banking — offering customers access to investment products, insurance and takaful plans, international banking services, healthcare benefits and travel-related privileges.
