Southern Score wins RM48mil DC contract


PETALING JAYA: Southern Score Builders Bhd (SSBB) has accepted a letter of award from a local construction company to undertake a subcontract project for a data centre (DC) project totalling RM47.52mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction company noted that the contract is for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical, extra-low voltage, telco and security works for the DC.

“The commencement date of the project shall be on May 7, 2026 and the expected completion date shall be on March 11, 2027.”

SSBB said the acceptance of the contract for the project will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of the company.

It added that there will not be any immediate effect on its net assets per share and gearing.
