PETALING JAYA: HE Group Bhd
has secured a purchase order (PO) for the power distribution system works for a manufacturer involved in the assembly, testing and packing of Nand flash memory products in Malaysia, worth RM20mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the power distribution system provider said the commencement date for the PO shall be the date of acceptance of the PO, with a completion date of Nov 17, 2026.
HE Group said the PO is subject to any variations, additions and/or omissions to be made in accordance with its express terms.
For HE Group’s first quarter ended March 31, 2026, net profit dipped to RM2.56mil from RM2.89mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue dropped to RM26.24mil from RM31.54mil a year earlier.
The company said the lower revenue was mainly attributable to the completion of several projects during the current financial quarter, coupled with lower progress billings from ongoing projects.
