PetDag chair Datuk Anuar Ahmad retires


PETALING JAYA: Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PetDag) has announced that its chairman, Datuk Anuar Ahmad, has retired.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said Anuar retired at the conclusion of the 44th AGM which was held yesterday, in accordance with Article 107 of the company’s constitution. According to PetDag’s annual report, Anuar (72) was appointed chairman of the company since January 2022.

Prior to this, he had also served as Chemical Company of Malaysia Bhd (CCM) director, CCM finance and investment committee chairman, Petroliam Nasional Bhd (PETRONAS) director, and Petronas Gas Bhd chairman.

Anuar was the independent non-executive chairman of Nylex (M) Bhd, and a member of its audit committee as well.
