Hextar Capital bags RM155mil hospital job


PETALING JAYA: Hextar Capital Bhd’s (HCB) subsidiary, Legacy Core Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a contract for the construction of a hospital in Melaka worth RM155.3mil.

HCB said Legacy Core shall carry out piling, foundation works, demolition, building, infrastructure and related construction works for the project.

“The project is scheduled to commence on April 30, 2026, and is expected to be completed by Aug 30, 2028.

“It is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026, and throughout the duration of the project,” it said.

HCB managing director Johnson Chang said that the award marks another significant milestone and reflects the company’s continued dedication to delivering quality construction services.

The group is highly focused on pursuing opportunities to enhance long-term value for its stakeholders, he added.
