Perdana Petroleum unit secures PETRONAS work orders for two AHTS vessels


KUALA LUMPUR: Pedana Petroleum Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd has received two work orders from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd for the privision of two anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS) vessels.

In a stock exchange filing, the gorup said the vessels will be chartered for 303 and 224 days respectively, with an option for each vessel charter to be extended for another 40 days.

The value of the contracts is yet to be determined as it will vary based on the work orders issued by the charterer throughout the duration of the contracts.

"Perdanan Nautika shall provide the vessels with crew and equipment to perform a continuous 24 hours service for the purpose of assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installations, derrick barges, towing and anchor job," it said.
