KUALA LUMPUR: Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd executive chairman Tan Sri Rozali Ismail, 69, will relinquish his position and retire as director, effective June 30, 2026.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said Rozali will continue to serve in his present capacity to facilitate a smooth transition.

“His relinquishment as executive chairman and resignation as director of Puncak Niaga and its subsidiary companies will take effect on June 30,” it said.

“The board of directors has deliberated on the above, taking into consideration, amongst others, his current health condition, personal commitments, and the need to ensure continuity of leadership as well as adherence to good corporate governance practices,” Puncak Niaga said.

Rozali is also a major shareholder of the group and the father of managing director Azlan Shah Rozali.

The board and management expressed appreciation for his longstanding leadership, noting that under his stewardship, the group achieved significant growth and stability.
