IJM awards Geohan highway extensions jobs


KUALA LUMPUR: Geohan Corp Bhd says its wholly-owned subsidiary, Geohan Sdn Bhd, has secured two subcontracts from IJM Construction Sdn Bhd with a combined value of RM103mil for the New Pantai Highway extension.

The group said the first subcontract, valued at RM27.4mil, is for hand dug caisson piling works, along with comprehensive pile testing. The second subcontract, valued at RM75.6mil, is for bored piling and reverse circulation drilling works.

Both contracts are expected to be completed within 19 months from the date of commencement.

With the new wins, Geohan’s total outstanding order book has risen to about RM460mil.

The infrastructure segment now accounts for approximately 30% of the total order book, an increase from 17.3% as at Dec 31, 2205.
