Southern Score wins two deals


PETALING JAYA: Southern Score Builders Bhd has secured two data centre-related electrical subcontract projects worth a combined RM189mil through its 51%-owned unit, SJEE Engineering Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction firm said Project A, valued at RM150mil involves the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems for a data centre project.

Meanwhile, Project B involves additional works for an existing subcontract project originally awarded to SJEE on Oct 15, 2024.

The additional works, worth RM39mil, brings the total subcontract sum for Project B to RM115.04mil. Project A will commence on March 2 and is expected to be completed by Nov 30, 2026. Project B, which started on Aug 9, 2024, will be expected to be completed on Oct 30, 2026.

Southern Score Builders executive director and chief executive officer Gan Yee Hin said the RM150mil contract is the single-largest job secured by its mechanical and electrical division.
