Kitacon lands RM89mil building project


KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Kitacon Bhd has accepted a letter of award or LoA from Rawang Lakes Sdn Bhd for main building works worth RM89mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the contract was accepted by its wholly owned subsidiary, Kitacon Sdn Bhd, on March 9, 2026.

The contract includes ancillary and infrastructure works for the proposed construction and completion of Phase 6A – 140 units of two-storey terrace houses, and Phase 6B – 118 units of two-storey terrace houses on Lot PT 50866, Blok 5, Bandar Tasik Puteri, Rawang in Gombak, Selangor.

The contract shall commence on March 16, 2026, to be completed within 20 months from the commencement date.

“The contract will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of Kumpulan Kitacon,” it said. — Bernama
