HSS Engineers unit to support paddy cultivation project in Kawasan Muda


KUALA LUMPUR: HSS Engineers Bhd said its associate company SMHB Sdn Bhd as entered into a consultancy service agreement with MMC Infra Padi Sdn Bhd for the provision of engineering consultancy services for the development of a project to support padi cultivation at Kawasan Muda under the Jeniang Water Transfer Scheme Project Phase II.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the project will support the cultivation of paddy for five seasons in two years.

The project, which has an estimated service value of the project of RM30.52mil, will commence in March 2026 and is estimated to be completed in June 2030.

The group expects to fund the services via internally generated funds and/or external borrowings.
