Chairman role updated at Farm Fresh


PETALING JAYA: Farm Fresh Bhd has redesignated its independent director, Datuk Dr Quaza Nizamuddin A Hassan Nizam, to the position of non-executive chairman with immediate effect.

According to the group’s annual report, Quaza Nizamuddin, 66, has nearly 40 years of expertise in veterinary medicine and livestock production.

“His notable achievements include establishing regulations under the Feed Act 2009, formulating the Animal Welfare Act 2015 in Malaysia, and implementing strategic plans for dairy and beef development programmes.”

He also oversaw effective disease control programmes and implemented standards and certifications for farms and processing plants.

Separately, Farm Fresh also announced the appointment of Stephen John Watson Hagger as its director.
