Bina Puri secures RM42.5mil contract in Sarawak


KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Bina Puri Builder Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM42.5mil contract in Limbang, Sarawak from Mexajati Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the unit was appointed as the contractor to carry out and complete the project works, excluding the design component.

Bina Puri said the project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings, earnings per share, net assets per share and gearing.

The board also said the group has maintained a strong presence in Sarawak, having completed landmark projects such as the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly building and Plaza Merdeka.
