KJTS Group acquires 70.67% interest in IHSB for RM10.10mil

PETALING JAYA: KJTS Group Bhd is proposing to acquire a 70.67% interest in iHandal Holdings Sdn Bhd (IHSB) from Corellia Holdings I Sdn Bhd, Aaron C. Patel and Christopher Zhong Yi Lim for RM10.10mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the building support services provider said the proposed acquisition is expected to complement and strengthen KJTS’ core cooling energy management and building support services business. “This includes system design, energy efficiency solutions, operation and maintenance services for commercial and industrial buildings.”

KJTS noted that IHSB is principally involved in providing energy saving solutions, including heat recovery and energy efficiency systems for commercial and industrial facilities.

“Its business aligns with the KJTS’ strategy to expand beyond conventional cooling energy services into adjacent energy optimisation solutions that improve overall system efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

“As KJTS and IHSB operate within related segments of the energy services value chain, the acquisition is expected to create cross-selling opportunities across their respective customer bases.”
