Velesto secures contract from SSPC for top tension riser services

KUALA LUMPUR: Velesto Energy Bhd’s (Velesto) subsidiary, Velesto Workover Sdn Bhd has secured two contracts from Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Ltd (SSPC) to support its deepwater operations offshore Sabah.

The contracts outline the provision of comprehensive maintenance services for Top Tension Risers (TTRs) at SSPC’s Tension Leg Platform (TLP) offshore Sabah.

Velesto’s president, Megat Zariman Abdul Rahim said the award reflected Velesto's expertise to support SSPC’s offshore activities and the group’s consistent focus on safe and efficient operations.

"These projects help support the group’s long-term resilience by diversifying into a broader range of services,” he said in a statement today.

The group added that the multi-year contracts form part of Velesto’s continued progress to expand its integrated maintenance and engineering offerings within the upstream energy sector, in collaboration with its principal, INVX Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. - Bernama
