Northern Solar wins RM119.38mil in new contracts

KUALA LUMPUR: Northern Solar Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Northern Solar Sdn Bhd, has secured contracts worth RM119.38mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the subsidiary had accepted two letters of award from an undisclosed main contractor due to confidentiality provisions.

The contracts comprise RM47.52mil for Plot-B construction works and RM71.86mil for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for collector lines and SPP-IF.

Northern Solar said the tenure for the execution of the contracts has yet to be finalised, and a further announcement will be made upon the signing of a formal subcontractor agreement.

The board said the awards are expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets per share for the financial years ending March 31, 2026 onwards.
