TSR Capital unit wins highway widening job


PETALING JAYA: TSR Capital Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, TSR Bina Sdn Bhd, together with its joint-venture partner, has secured a RM99mil construction contract to widen the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway.

The letter of award was received from AFA Construction and Engineering Sdn Bhd. The contract has a duration of 18 months and is scheduled for completion by the third quarter of 2027, TSR Capital said in a filing.

The scope of works includes the construction and completion of earthworks and other associated works under Package 1B, covering KM19.20 to KM39.00 (Section 1) and KM39.00 to KM64.50 (Section 2).

It said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the group for the financial year ending June 30, 2026, and over the duration of the project.
