KUALA LUMPUR: Malayan Banking Bhd
(Maybank) has appointed Chua Bee Geok as its group chief operations officer effective April 1, 2026, succeeding Alan Lau Chee Kheong, who retires after 43 years with the bank.
In a statement, the bank said Chua will lead the group’s operations across trade, treasury and payments, with a focus on enhancing the end-to-end customer experience and driving growth across Asean in wealth, payments, transaction banking and corporate and investment banking.
