UUE Holdings contract wins in Singapore a positive sign for firm

PETALING JAYA: Following two recent contracts it has bagged, UUE Holdings Bhd’s contracts for its current financial year ending Feb 28, 2026 (FY26) stands at RM337mil, which is ahead of analysts’ expectation.

The two new contracts, clinched by wholly owned subsidiary Konnection Engineering Pte Ltd, were worth S$10.9mil or RM33.7mil each.

Both contracts were awarded by SP PowerAssets and relate to the supply and installation of 400kV power cables, auxiliary cables, and accessories.

UUE’s scope includes installation of high-density polyethylene pipes using horizontal directional drilling method and provision of materials, tools, equipment, and labour.

However, RHB Research is keeping its earnings forecast unchanged for FY26 because billings are likely to commence in FY27 due to upcoming festive downtime and potential permit-approval delay.
