KUALA LUMPUR: Here is a recap of the announcements that made headlines in Corporate Malaysia.

MISC Bhd said its joint venture JV company has secured a contract extension for its floating production, storage and offloading FPSO Ruby II offshore in Vietnam until Dec 31, 2027.

The government has accepted the tender offer from Duopharma Biotech Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Duopharma Marketing Sdn Bhd, and Biocon Sdn Bhd to supply products under the Health Ministry’s procurement, worth RM65.1mn.

Seal Incorporated Bhd is relinquishing control over its 31.5-acre reclamation project in Penang to a unit of Penang property developer GSD Land (M) Sdn Bhd to reduce financial risk and funding pressure during the project’s long gestation period.

Hextar Capital Bhd clarified that it has no relation to a business entity named Opcom Sdn Bhd named in a report filed with the government’s anti-corruption agency.

Heitech Padu Bhd has been sued by Kayangan Cahaya Sdn Bhd in the Shah Alam High Court for approximately RM5.1mn over a building maintenance services agreement and related works.

IGB Bhd and its joint venture partner, Johor state-owned Southkey City Sdn Bhd, have agreed to extend the conditional period for their RM215.0mn purchase of two leasehold land parcels in Johor Bahru by three months.

Johan Holdings Bhd is proposing to dispose of The Orient Star Lumut hotel and three pieces of leasehold land in Lumut, Perak, to Golden Peak Hospitality & Consultancy Sdn Bhd for RM47.4mn.

Farmiera Bhd said a fire incident at its wholly-owned broiler farm in Linggi, Negeri Sembilan, on Feb 14 is not expected to have a material impact on its operations.
