Lower net profit for Perdana Petroleum in FY25

The company's revenue also declined by 31% to RM279.14mil.

KUALA LUMPUR: Perdana Petroleum Bhd’s net profit for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2025 (FY25) fell to RM56.09mil from RM146.12mil in FY24.

Revenue also declined by 31% to RM279.14mil, compared to RM440.12mil a year ago, due to a lower own vessel utilisation rate (52% versus 70%).

“It was also attributed to lower third-party vessel chartering of RM39.6mil, representing a 64% decline compared to RM108.5mil achieved last year. Marginally offsetting was the higher ancillary income, particularly on vessel mob and demob income,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia as reported by Bernama.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the company’s net profit dropped to RM1.81mil from RM29.55mil in the same quarter a year ago, while revenue eased to RM48.37mil from RM89.05mil previously.
