Ireka unit accepts RM125mil construction job in Bintulu


KUALA LUMPUR: Ireka Corp Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Shoraka Construction Sdn Bhd has secured a RM125mil contract from Sarawak Land (Kemena Park) Sdn Bhd for the proposed construction of the Pinnacle Condominium at Jalan Tanjung Batu, Bintulu, Sarawak.

It said in a stock exchange filing, the contract comes with a performance bond of RM6.25mil, which represents 5% of the contract sum. The contract runs for a period of 24 months from commencement.

"The scope of works comprises, inter alia, structural and architectural works for Blocks A and B, external and ancillary works, and mechanical and electrical works, together with authority approvals, testing and commissioning and submission of as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals," it said.
