Ni Hsin unit to supply RM2.76mil EVs to Alam Flora


KUALA LUMPUR: Ni Hsin Group Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Ni Hsin EV Tech Sdn Bhd (NHEVT), has secured two major purchase orders from waste management firm Alam Flora Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Malakoff Corp Bhd, for the supply of a fleet of electric vehicles for RM2.76mil.

It said in a statement the landmark cooperation highlights both companies' commitment to accelerating green initiatives and lowering carbon emissions within urban waste management and public sanitation sectors in Malaysia.

According to the statement, the purchase includes 105 EV motorcycles valued at RM1.56mil and 56 EV tricycles valued at RM1.2mil.

"This collaboration represents a significant milestone for NHEVT as we continue to champion practical and sustainable e-mobility solutions for commercial and industrial operations across Malaysia," said NHEVT managing director Khoo Chee Kong.
