Pestec appoints Adam Yee as president

PETALING JAYA: Pestec International Bhd has appointed Datuk Adam Yee Hee Hoon its president.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the engineering and infrastructure solutions provider said Yee, 50, brings extensive leadership experience across the manufacturing and industrial sectors, having held senior roles including president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd and deputy managing director at Powerwell Holdings Bhd.

“He has led operational restructuring, strategic growth initiatives, and collaborative engagement with government authorities, industry councils, and chambers of commerce.

“As president, Yee will be responsible for the company’s strategic direction and new business development, providing strategic oversight on operational performance and reporting to Datuk Mohamed Razeek Hussain (group managing director), who retains overall responsibility of the group.

Pestec said deputy group CEO Manindar Singh Chawla will continue to oversee project delivery and day-to-day operational matters, also reporting to the group managing director.

“The board is confident that these refinements to leadership roles will enhance collaboration, governance, and continuity in the group’s management and strategic direction,” said Pestec.
