PETALING JAYA: Recently listed digital-marketing driven media company Foodie Media Bhd oversaw a strong first quarter ended Nov 30, supported by its diversified portfolio of digital assets and marketing capabilities.

The company said it was able to serve a broad base of clients across multiple industries, as it delivered a gross profit of RM7.1mil in the quarter on the back of a revenue at RM12.6mil.

The quarter’s net profit amounted to RM3.8mil, supported by disciplined cost management, operating leverage and stable operating conditions during the period, it said.

Foodie said its revenue was primarily generated from Malaysia, with additional contributions from overseas markets including Ireland and Singapore.

“Our strong first-quarter performance marks an important milestone for Foodie, as we delivered the highest quarterly revenue and profit since our inception. This achievement reinforces our confidence in the company’s positioning within the fast-growing digital media landscape,” its chief executive Nicholas Lim said.
