ES Sunlogy bags RM15mil electrical job


PETALING JAYA: ES Sunlogy Bhd's subsidiary Savelite Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a RM15.22mil subcontractor role contract for a project in Johor.

The contract will see the company supply, deliver, install, test, commission and provide maintenance of electrical services at Lot 156682 on Johor Bahru-Pasir Gudang Highway, Plentong, Johor Bahru for Parkland Southern Sdn Bhd, the company awarding the contract.

"The accepted sub-contract works sum is on a firm price basis and it includes all charges for transport, lifting, hoisting, packing, freight, insurance, payroll, tax, import duties and all other taxes and where applicable: fees, royalties and exchanges. No adjustment for any fluctuations will be made," ES Sunlogy's filing to Bursa Malaysia said.

Savelite said it will bear all increase in import duty, tariffs and taxes that may arise during the duration of the sub-contract and that any increase would not be recoverable from the main contractor or the employer.
