Crest Builder secures RM73.9mil mixed-use project subcontract


KUALA LUMPUR: Crest Builder Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, CBTECH (M) Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM73.9mil subcontract for electrical and extra-low voltage services for a mixed-use development in Jalan P. Ramlee, Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Crest Builder said CBTECH was appointed by HAB Construction Sdn Bhd as the nominated subcontractor for the project, which comprises a five-storey basement, a 10-storey podium, a 48-storey hotel and private residences under Tower 1, as well as a 56-storey serviced apartment under Tower 2.

The subcontract is scheduled to commence on Dec 19, 2025, with completion aligned to the main contractor’s work programme. The overall completion date for the main contract is Feb 22, 2029.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2026 and onwards,” Crest Builder said.
