Sunway Construction unit secures work orders valued at RM386mil from US-based tech firm


KUALA LUMPUR: Sunway Construction Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd has accepted work orders valued at a combined RM386mil from a multinational technology company based in the US for site infrastructure works for two projects.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the works are scheduled to commence immediately with final completion expected by October 2026.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the works are expected to contribute positively to the earnings of SunCon Group for the financial year ending 2025 onwards.

SunCon said  its total outstanding order book stands at RM6.4 billion. This includes new projects secured to date this year, totaling RM4.9bil.
