KGW buys machinery for RM1.65mil


PETALING JAYA: KGW Group Bhd is acquiring 42 used plants and machinery from Ability Global Sdn Bhd for RM1.65mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the logistic services provider said the acquisition is intended to be carried out in two batches.

The first batch will comprise three prime movers, 17 trailers and a double axle trailer container side loader; while the second batch consists of three prime movers and 18 trailers.

“The acquisition is expected to strengthen KGW Global’s operational capacity in the haulage and transportation segment.

“The prime movers and trailers will enable the group to undertake higher cargo volumes, support new customer contracts, and reduce reliance on outsourced haulage providers.”
